Inflammation: Diapedesis
As a consequence of increased vascular permeability, plasma pours from the intravascular space to the extracellular area. Diapedis of leukocytes between vascular endothelial cells also occurs. Histamine attracts leukocytes into the extracellular fluid space through chemotaxis.
